so rude.

You know what really gets me? Is when people talk on their cell phones when they are in line to purchase or order something. I work in a restaurant that deals with a lot of take out and it never ceases to amaze me how rude people can be. Literally, some people will stay on their phone the whole time and simply point to the items like f**king cavemen ..thrust their cash or card in my face and grab their food without so much as a thanks or even waiting for their receipt. I mean we all see signs everywhere that says please don't use your cell phone in line. But really, should signs like this even be necessary? I mean why the hell cant people just have common decency and manners towards other people. Really though.. i have no faith in humanity at the moment. Props to all those who work in customer service and put up with this bullshit on a daily.
that is all for now.

I agree! I used to work in costumer service; thank God I do not now, so seriously I applaud you! I absolutely hated when people would do this, I mean shoot hang up your phone for one minute to be polite..its not that hard! Whenever I walk up to the cashier checkout I tell the person I am on the phone with I will call them back..its honestly not that hard to do..and its the right thing to do.

We live in an instant gratification society. Get used to it Syb. ;) We have cell phones that allow us to talk to anyone, anywhere. We have computers that can go online anywhere (some of us have cell phones that are computers and can go online anywhere while we talk to anyone). I mean, I do my best to hang up and call back when I'm in line for stuff, but sometimes it's just not feasible to hang up and call back. What pisses me off about this is when it's the 16 year old girl (or whoever) talking about useless garbage like it really is something important.

My mother always comments on how stupid people look as they walk around talking into their cell phone. She hates the wireless things in the ears too. We are that kind of society today, that is for sure. No one cares to have interaction with anyone that isn't coming through a data stream. Alexander Graham Bell would be completely amazed, then he would throw up.

I completely agree!!! The worst is when there talking instead of being helped so they hold up the whole line.. and then you say something and they look at you like your being the rude one. I work for the airline and people talk on the phone when I'm checking them in for a flight!! Then as soon as i'm done, they get off, and go sit in security for 2 hours, not using their phone once!! Time and place people. Thanks for sharing, I'm glad i'm not the only one.

Being a server for the past 5 and a half years I know exactly what you mean. I never really had a problem with people on the phone, especially when they are by themselves. I figure it's probably business or their lunch break and they have work to do. Even all other situations it was fine. What got me though was that some people are ASSES on the phone. You know, those ones that give you the index fingure without looking at you meaning "dont go anywhere, wait right there, until im good and ready" or how some of them would act annoyed when you came around, like you doing something wrong. It my job you fuck, go girl-talk in you car.
